Learning Objectives
At the end of the course, the student will be able to understand the general concepts of Internal Medicine, semeiology and methodology (anamnesis, clinical examination); epidemiology, ethiopathogenesis, physiopathology, clinical aspects and principles of dietetic and pharmacological therapy of the most relevant internistic diseases . The student will be also able to i) recognize risk factors of the diseases, ii) describe values and problems of the principal lab and instrumental skills, iii) correctly identify pharmacological instruments and interventions on life style to prevent and cure internistic diseases.
Learning Objectives
GENERAL OBJECTS
General objects of this course are the knowledge of the most relevant pathologies of internal medicine with particular focus on cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal, endocrine and infectious diseases, in relation to the different approaches for the management. In its contents, the course allows to acquire the know-how to manage the most relevant clinical problems in internal medicine, also taking into account social and cultural modifications in the general population, promoting therapeutic auto-management and integration between general hospital and outdoor area. The course also gives the opportunity to acquire conceptual knowledge to project evidence-based safe nursing support through the application of the nursing process. It also provides the instruments to analyze and understand accurately al the data collected by the nursing inspection.
