Course Content
The course is seminar and interactive. It aims to offer a critical and descriptive overview of today's musical production systems. It examines the different professional roles involved in the making of concerts, series or festivals; and it tries put into practice the steps of conception and construction of different types of musical events (classical, contemporary, jazz, pop, etc.). It will feature the participation of music operators active in concert planning and organization.

Learning Objectives
The aim of the laboratory is to provide students with a general framework to understand the organizational machine behind a musical event, and to orient themselves in the various skills of cultural operators.

Teaching Methods
The materials of the laboratory are uploaded on G Suite and divided into folders named with the date of the lesson (every Thursday from April 16 to June 4, 2020). Each folder will be uploaded in conjunction with the lesson date.

Course program
The Laboratory of Music and Production is interactive and seminar. It aims to offer a critical and descriptive overview of today's musical production processes and systems, from the point of view of the insiders. It examines the different professional figures involved in the realization of a single concert, a music series or a festival.
It is an opportunity to explore and try to put into practice the various steps of conception and construction of different types of musical events (concert of classical music, contemporary, electronic, experimental, pop, etc.). The Laboratory of Music and Production will host interventions by professional operators active in concert planning and organization, who are currently working both in a regional context and in a more extended scenario.
